"SUBEXYA BHADEL" is one of the best designers of our country. She is well known for her line named "subexya" which caters beautiful gowns and dresses to celebrity and high fashion lovers. She is cute, she is pretty and she is alwz there to help the needy ones. From what i read in other interviews of her, whenever she used to go to buy fabric in Indrachwok, those street children clinging on her to ask for some money alwz melted her heart.As a result she inititated Smile Nepal a NGO tht helps the street children.

*Tell me a little about yourself. What are your general professional and non-professional interests?
- I am a nature lover, a child at heart and a person who deeply believes in the fact that staying true to yourself will take you far. I have always been interested in fashion, cookery, and social activism. Made it to fashion, doing my best to serve the needy, and cooking, that I constantly do at home.

*What are you currently involved in?
- My S/S collection. Also, there’s a fashion show I am going to be a part. It’s called “Royal Fashweavers” by Royal Events. And a charity event that I am planning to raise funds for the underprivileged children in Gorkha.

*Do you read blogs?
-Not really. But whenever I do, I go through yours and there’s this other blogger I love – Olivia Bee. J

*What does fashion mean to you?
- Fashion is just an extension of who I am. It is a way of expressing the state you’re in.

*How would you define your style as?
- Preppy, minimal, clean and effortless.

*What can we find in your bag?
- Almost everything, haha. Money, make up, cologne, businesss cards, baby wipes, mint strips, my closet keys, also, my studio’s keys. I have this weird habit of keeping at least one sketch pencil in my bag, makes me feel good.

*What is in your makeup bag?
- My Victoria’s Secret lip gloss, Elizabeth Arden’s hand cream, Victoria’s Secret body mist, Bvlgari Jasmin Noir cologne, baby wipes, L’Oreal’s True Match foundation & mascara, Maybelline’s colossal kohl & M.A.C’s eyeliner.
*Most/Least expensive fashionable item you own?
- Most expensive has to be this Guess bag I was gifted by a dear friend. And least expensive, I bought it here itself. It’s a white cotton button down shirt. I got it in Ason, worth it.

*What do we find the most in your wardrobe?
- Pencil skirts because they make me look slimmer. Chic blouses, summer coats, trousers, dresses, etc. And all designed by me, tailored in my atelier itself.

*On a normal day, do you put on make-up or keep it natural?
- I just apply sunscreen on my face. I use Lotus’s sunscreen. And lip balm.

*Your favourite designs ?
- For this season, I am loving monochrome and baroque J

- I wear my own designs mostly, so I don’t have a particular favorite brand. I like Zara, United Colors of Benetton, Topshop, Prabal Gurung for Target.

*Any fashion tips you want to give to my readers?

- Don’t lose your individuality while trying to copy someone else. What you see in films, and magazines, there are hundreds of people involved to make a person look like that. You are naturally beautiful; you don’t have to try so hard. Wear what you feel like wearing, but be careful to not overdo it.

Any last words?
- Everyone is born beautiful, that’s God’s gift to you. Try doing something meaningful while you are here, that’s your gift to God. And always, stay true to your roots. Lastly, thank you so much Khusbu for this lovely feature. All the best for your future endeavors.
