I WISH

HELLO,

The pictures were taken on the day we reached lumbini. We reached there at past 2, took rest, showered and left the hotel to roam around lumbini to see the gumbas. Most of our time was wasted going from gate no. this to gate no. that. And to top it off, the vehicles were not allowed inside the gates. Now, could it get any worse? A- we came to know that the gumbas are open only till 6, B- Our little time was wasted going from gate to gate and C- Vehicles were not allowed inside. But thank god we were able to take our vehicle inside because of contacts and reaches. I know that is bad, the rules should be same for everyone but we had to do that because we couldn't walk those big compounds or take a rikshaw, with speed like that we wouldn't be on time and we wouldn't get to explore lumbini.

I just realized i didn't take much outfit picture that day. Maybe because of the little time we had to explore the beautiful gumbas, (not that this was my first time there, i have been there numerous times but everytime is like a new experience and it is always fun). And also because it got dark so fast and i thought the pictures would not come nice.

HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN

Hello,
  I always wanted to click picture in middle of the road on highways and i thought this time i would do that for sure but as always this wish became just a wish because i didn't had enough guts to do that with all those big trucks and busses coming one after other with loud noise scaring me away everytime i try.  I clicked the pictures beside the roads instead. I kept the topic of the post as highway to heaven because i was indeed on my way to heaven ie to Lumbini (birthplace of Lord Buddha).
   I chose to wear this blue cardigan and black tights with boots because for me travelling means being comfortable and i was very much in comfort with these pieces. We chose to go via road because we wanted a long drive which we hadn't been to for quite a long. It sure was a long 7 hrs drive but no way was it a smooth one (u know the roads of our highway ryt). Don't get fooled by the picture because in real i looked like i just had a hair pulling cat fight with someone because of the strong wind. And the shades helped too for the look, if u got tht. :P.

POSTCARDS FROM LUMBINI, NEPAL

I along with the siblings,went to the holy place Lumbini for a weekend getaway. It was also my anniversary, so we thought Lumbini would be the perfect getaway as we would be out on a long drive, also enjoying to the fullest along with being spiritual and taking blessings from the lamas on the big day. For those of you who do not know, Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha which is situated in Nepal. I am so proud that i share the same birth place as Gautam Buddha. Lumbini is heaven on earth and no one needs no reason to visit lumbini. So, if you haven't been there you should visit it atleast once. Here i leave you with few pictures that i took there. I am not a good photographer so dont judge. :)

IN PRABAL GURUNG

    I know i know it should be IN Prabal Gurung for Target but anyway it is prabal gurung after all rightt? And being a nepali, i am very very proud that i own a prabal gurung in my closet. Coming from a small country like ours, he has made it very big in the fashion world and we all nepalese are proud of him. And we all deserve at least one piece of his designs in our wardrobe. When i heard he had designed for Target, i was so excited but couldn't buy it because it was not available in my country. I am so glad i had a chance to buy this beautiful skirt in my cousin's one day shopping spree. Better late than never right?

Look at that print, Isn't it so lovely? It was love at first sight for me. I could have styled it in a girly,sweet way but i wanted to go little tough on it so i paired it with faux leather jacket and black booties. I did an all black outfit so that my skirt stands out. HELLO LOVE
So, how many bloggers get stuck at the writing part like me??? I spend tons of time thinking what to write and as i was going through my old post i realized i am not as frank as i used to be before. I mean i noticed i used to talk about what is happening in my life and things i wanted my readers to know. I used to pour my heart out but ever since i got a hate comment saying i am judgemental and stuffs like that, i completely stopped being too personal here and all i talked about is my outfit but now i miss it. I miss interacting with my viewers, i miss telling them what i am going through and what is going on in my life. So, from next post i will talk about certain topics i want to talk about and yes, i'll pour my heart out.

I wore this awesome red check pant that belongs to my young sister. She is just 13(8 years younger than me) and she has grown so big so fast and i love it because i can share clothes with her. :P. I was an alone child for quite a long time and even after my sister was born we were in two different part of the country for more few years, I was in a boarding school in Nepal and she was in Japan with the parents, so we never really got along because of the age difference and distance. And i cant believe she has grown up so fast.  So, teamed this pant with the frontrowshop shirt that i wore HERE.
